Every figure on this page comes from the RuggON SOL 7 data sheet, where each line carries its source.
The protection rating is given as IP65 – under IEC 60529 that means dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. 15 of the 45 devices we list carry this class.
The military standard is stated as MIL-STD-810H, MIL-STD-461G. MIL-STD-461G is also listed – the standard for electromagnetic compatibility, which no device in the Fieldbook range carries. MIL-STD-810 is not a certification but a set of test methods – which of them a manufacturer runs is its own decision.
The permitted operating temperature range is given as −20 °C to +60 °C.
Brightness is given as 1000 nits. That puts the RuggON SOL 7 at rank 11 of 44 devices for which a brightness figure is documented. The brightest reaches 1680 nits, the dimmest 400.
A display is generally counted as sunlight readable from around 1000 nits. This device sits above that line and stays legible in direct sun.
The manufacturer data sheet lists the following interfaces. We reproduce the list unchanged, because count and assignment can differ between build levels:
The data sheet states: Two hot-swappable batteries, 3010 mAh at 11.625 V; fast charging, 65 W USB-C adapter.
A replaceable battery means the device can keep running without a shutdown, as long as the change happens within the buffer time. In shift operation that removes the charging break.
A configurator is available for the RuggON SOL 7: Yes, interactive configurator on the product page (6 groups). It lets the build be put together before the enquiry rather than settled in conversation. The options offered there follow the choices in the manufacturer data sheet.
IP65 – dust-tight and protected against water jets. Immersion is not covered.
−20 °C to +60 °C.
Yes – see the interface list quoted above.
